Katy Barnhill is the owner of Acupuncture to the People, PLLC and is a NCCAOM national board-certified acupuncturist, licensed in Massachusetts and New York.
With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Katy has treated thousands of patients and learned from each of them how prevention-based care, continuity of treatment, and trust can improve clinical outcomes.
Katy holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture with a focus on integrative medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York. Prior to earning her doctorate, she completed extensive training in the health sciences at Northeastern University and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Her education in Boston, a prominent center for healthcare and research, provided her the opportunity to partner with premier medical institutions and community health centers to improve the health and well-being of people from all backgrounds.
After nearly two decades in Manhattan, Katy returned to the Boston area in early 2025 and joined the Integrative Therapies team at Massachusetts General Hospital. There, she provides supportive acupuncture care to patients undergoing systemic therapy and radiation, working as part of a hospital-based integrative care team to support them through their treatments.
In 2026, Katy relocated her established acupuncture practice from New York to Brookline, where she is excited to serve a new community. She is deeply committed to patient-centered, integrative care that bridges traditional East Asian medicine with modern clinical practice, emphasizing safety, compassion, and collaboration.
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS:
Maor is the owner of Soleil Acupuncture, PLLC and a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York. He specializes in sports medicine, trigger point dry needling, male pelvic floor disorders and stress management.
Maor is passionate about helping people feel their best and uses a combination of acupuncture, dry needling and manual therapy to provide specialized care to those suffering from acute and chronic injuries, as well as complex sports injuries.
He graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy.
He has taken extensive post-graduate courses in dry needling, pelvic floor health and neuro-functional acupuncture. He supports the body’s own intrinsic knowledge of healing through acupuncture, electo-acupuncture, dry needling, myofascial release/manual therapy, moxibustion, gua sha and cupping. Principally, Maor’s approach to treatment is anchored in a deep understanding not just of a patient’s symptoms but also the behavioral and psychological changes that may have contributed to them.
Maor grew up in Belgium and has been living in NYC for almost 20 years. He is fluent in five languages. This background taught him early on to appreciate the uniqueness of individuals. And that understanding is evident in his individualized treatment plans for each of his patients.
